Presentation of ZAYANN: Master Shipwright Juan Guerrero of Sarteneja was the builder of the boat hull, deck, cabin, and most of the interior completed in 2012, from my designs mostly. I did the hallow boom in spanish cedar (cedro) laminated, electrical box & wiring, inside outfitting, name / home-port plates, flax fiber composite on the roof and painting job.

The boat is ☑️ 3 feet draft allowing the access of many sites and shallow water spots and to go through shortcuts, access almost any piers and docks.

I have designed ZAYANN to be BEAMY with large transom so it has a comfortable space inside contrary to many traditional fishing boats…
There is:
☑️ one large private cabine on the bow (the V-berth with front sails storage) to accommodate a couple
☑️ one marine toilet (blue door on the port side – left) with trap open on deck
☑️ 3 (4 if needed) single beds
We store a limited amout of fresh water for shower and 30 gallons of potable water (6x5gal)
☑️ We have usb chargers and even 110v / 150watts inverter if necessary (drones, cameras etc)
The boat has to be hauled out preferably every year for regular maintenance and painting job, all done in Sarteneja (after many years in Rio Dulce Guatemala).

ZAYANN is gaff rig, which is a more traditional rigging allowing a shorter mast.
